So what exactly is a CheatSheet and how is it useful?

The answer is pretty simple. CheatSheet is a piece of text which helps you to rapidly and efficiently learn the content specified in it using a shortcut language. The sheet I provided above in particular is created for cracking MuleSoft Interviews in mind. I have created this in the year 2020 for my job interview because I could not go through the MuleSoft documentation from the scratch in order to answer a wide range of Interview questions. Every person has their own way of doing things. Some people write on paper to memorise. Some create mindmaps in their brains or using digital means. And some do not prepare at all with a structure.

For me having a mentalmap helps but I convey it using short notes, with keywords and emphasis on the most important things to remember in a module or a chapter.

If you view the CheatSheet I provided, you will see Indentations and keywords. The Keyword as the name says is a topic or item I need to remember and the Identation is style to show which item falls under what. This Indentation style of mindmap is something I inspired from YAML.

Fortunately, there is nothing much to explain about my cheatsheet. Its pretty straightword if you dig in. Nevertheless, I don't think you as the reader would be able to make immediate use of it. Which is why I propose a solution.

Start you own journey by creating such a sheet with the goal to cover all the topics you wish to know. Begin with what you already know and slowly do some research on what else you could be missing in it. Infact, the sheet I gave is always incomplete and there is always more to add. But remember, do not make the sheet too big to scroll like I did. If you can manager to swiftly grasp and identity the keypoints in a single glance no matter how long the sheet is, then fine. Go ahead. Or else just keep it plain an simple. Alright then, enough said. Happy learning.
